Jordan Newman is pictured with the Mother’s Day basket he won by entering a drawing sponsored by the Friends of the Corunna/Caledonia Branch of the Community District Library. Baskets containing gently used books, candy and other gift items for all occasions are available from the Friends group and can be purchased in the library or at the Friends used bookstore which is located at 210 E. Corunna Ave. Bookstore hours are Wednesday 12-5, Thursday 6-8 and Saturday 10-2. All proceeds from the sales benefit the library.
