Community District Library is delighted with the successful passage of the .7 mills requested on the August 7^th ballot. Thank you to the voters for your continued support. Residents can expect to see enhancements to library services in the near future. The Board of Trustees has indicated the following items will be considered a priority:

·        A coordinated plan to ensure all locations have a vibrant core collection of print, audio and electronic materials will be undertaken.

·        The current technology infrastructure and equipment will be evaluated and updated to improve internet access and connectivity

·        Programming options at all branches will be increased.

·        A comprehensive review of branch hours of operation will be undertaken. Appropriate changes will be implemented.

Maple Grove Township residents in Saginaw County voted down their ballot proposal to formally join Community District Library. We look forward to providing service to Maple Grove Township residents until the current contractual agreement ends in December, 2012.
