The Community District Library will offer patrons the ability to have their fines forgiven November 12th – November 17th during its Food for Fines campaign.  For each unexpired nonperishable food item, health & beauty or paper product that is brought to the library that week, $1.00 will be deducted from outstanding fines.  The donations cannot be used to pay for lost materials or nonresident card fees.  All donations will be distributed to food pantries in the communities the CDL serves.
