Can your child really read 1,000 books before Kindergarten? Yes! They REALLY can! It’s not as hard as you think.

Program Overview

 

  • Register at any Community District Library branch. Your child will receive their very own book bag for signing up.

 

  • For every book read your child will color a paw print on the reading log.

 

 

  • For every 100 books your child reads, they can choose a prize from the treasure chest.

 

  • Your child receives a new log each time they read 100 books.

 

  • Complete 500 books and they receive a new book.

 

  • When your child reaches 1,000 books they will receive a t-shirt.
