Join our monthly reading club for ages 7–12 who love to read! We meet on the third Tuesday of each month to explore a new book, talk about favorite characters, and enjoy fun activities inspired by the books. Come discover your next great read!

Please note that this event will take place at the new library location in the new Burns Township Hall Community Room, 124 Lehring Rd.

America250 ~ Join archaeologist, Tim Bennett, as he shares information about his research at the 1871 Warner pioneer homestead site in Brighton, Michigan.

Animals ~ Join Casey and Darcy with Mini Hooves of Healing as they share information about their miniature horses. Participants will get to meet the minis!  This event will be outside.

This is a student-run club to talk all things gaming! Participants are encouraged to bring their own hand held devices, however the library can provide access to tablets if needed. *Snack provided*

Animals ~ Join Rebecca from ARK Animal Encounters as she shares entertaining information about such things as a tree frog's soft cold belly; how snake's muscles ripple smoothly beneath its skin; or how intelligent a tortoise is.

Stories ~ Kids are invited to ROAR into a story on Fridays during the Summer! The fun begins with listening to stories, followed by an activity or craft, and ending by a snack!

Food ~ Learn about the layers of soil by making a scientific (and tasty) "Dirt  Pudding" dessert.

ART/Stories ~ Join comic book artist Kamron Reynolds for a comic book drawing workshop! He'll give tips for creating a character and help you create a mini comic book or comic strip.

Food ~ Travel the globe without leaving the library! We’ll explore a different country through its snacks and sweets. Come curious, leave full!

Join magician Joshua Wilde for a fun, family-friendly show featuring audience participation, magic, comedy, and juggling. His show is designed especially for kids, but enjoyable for adults too! This event is perfect for all ages.

Looking for a reason to get out of the house and connect with other moms? Join us for a casual, welcoming, and kid-friendly gathering at the library, perfect for moms with young children.

STEM ~ Kids ages 8-12 are invited to step into the shoes of an archeologist as they participate in an excavation simulation, map out and explore the dig site, and look for clues to learn about the object’s past.
