FOOD ~ People may think that bugs are gross, but we'll be turning them into a tasty treat! We'll be trying bugs with a few different toppings on them and getting tips on how to catch your own bugs and make treats at home!

Stem ~ Unearth dinosaur eggs and discover the contents inside!

Stories ~ Kids are invited to ROAR into a story on Fridays during the Summer! The fun begins with listening to stories, followed by an activity or craft, and ending by a snack!

Art ~ Kids and teens are invited to Unearth a Story and create their own dinosaur figure out of clay.

Stories ~ We'll start the day at 10:30am with stories and a craft at Confer Park, which is down the street from the library. The Library will be opening late that day.

STEM ~ Participants will create a small terrarium garden with dinosaur decorations and live plants.

Stories ~ Local author, Andrea Hyatt, will read her award winning book, Goldie and the Three Kind Bears, and little ones will get to make and take a craft home.

STEM ~ We will creatively decorate a plastic cup like a head/face and plant grass seed for "hair". Participants will take them home to watch the "hair" grow.

America250 ~ Participants will create their own quill and ink to write with, just like America’s Founding Fathers! 

This is a student-run club to talk all things gaming! Participants are encouraged to bring their own hand held devices, however the library can provide access to tablets if needed. *Snack provided*

America250 ~ Come to meet our amazing First Responders! Meet officers with police cruisers; paramedics with an ambulance; firefighters with a fire truck, and other awesome surprises!

Travel the globe without leaving the library! Now on the first Tuesday of each month, we'll explore a different country through its snacks and sweets. Come curious, leave full.
