STEM/Animals ~ Come and learn all about Honey Bees with the experts from Thornapple Woodlands.

FOOD ~ People may think that bugs are gross, but we'll be turning them into a tasty treat! We'll be trying bugs with a few different toppings on them and getting tips on how to catch your own bugs and make treats at home!

Stem ~ Unearth dinosaur eggs and discover the contents inside!

Art ~ Kids and teens are invited to Unearth a Story and create their own dinosaur figure out of clay.

Animals ~ Join us for an educational, hands-on animal encounter presentation.

STEM ~ Participants will create a small terrarium garden with dinosaur decorations and live plants.

STEM ~ We will creatively decorate a plastic cup like a head/face and plant grass seed for "hair". Participants will take them home to watch the "hair" grow.

Travel the globe without leaving the library! Now on the first Tuesday of each month, we'll explore a different country through its snacks and sweets. Come curious, leave full.

This event is appropriate for ages 12-18.

Join 2026 Michigan Notable Book Author Aram Mrjoian as he reads an excerpt from his awarding winning book, Waterline. The reading will be followed by a question and answer time and book signing. Books will be available for purchase.
