Travel the globe without leaving the library! Now on the first Tuesday of each month, we'll explore a different country through its snacks and sweets. Come curious, leave full.

This event is appropriate for ages 12-18.

A variety of sweet and salty snacks are specially brought in from a different country every month. Teens & tweens are invited to join the fun and experience flavors from around the world on the 1st Wednesday of each month.

If you've ever written poetry, a short story, a resume, a journal entry or even a long text message, you're a writer! As a writer, you're invited to join the Community District Writer's Club.

Join in on the fun of weekly stories, crafts and snacks. This session will run through June 4th.

STEM ~ Participants will create a small terrarium garden with dinosaur decorations and live plants.

STEM ~ Kids are invited to Unearth a Story during Dinosaur Day with PaleoJoe! He will introduce animals, plants, and creatures that have been extinct for millions of years.

This adult book club will meet monthly on the second Tuesday.

Stories ~ Come to the library for stories, an activity, and a snack! Storytime is geared toward children 0-4 years old, however children of all ages are welcome to attend with their caregiver!

STORIES ~ Start your summer out with a ROAR by making your own dinosaur reading buddy!

Each child will receive a mystery dinosaur to stuff and love!

Listen to a story and enjoy a dino-licious treat!

The Drop-in-Crafting Club is for any adult who has an interest in crafting.

Drop-in between 1pm and 4pm on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month.

Bring your own project and have fun with other adults who enjoy crafting. 

ART ~ Ages 5 through 15 are invited to paint a Dino figurine pottery piece in a class led by Happy Soul Place Pottery. Fired pieces will be returned to the library for pickup in approximately one week.

Animals ~ Enjoy an interactive experience, where participants will touch and hold a variety of bugs to learn to better understand and appreciate how amazing, important, and not scary they are!

Stories ~ Kids are invited to ROAR into a story on Fridays during the Summer! The fun begins with listening to stories, followed by an activity or craft, and ending by a snack!

Stories ~ Please join us at the Byron Branch every Monday at 1pm for Children's Story Time. Snack & juice will be provided. Hope to see you there!
