If you've ever written poetry, a short story, a resume, a journal entry or even a long text message, you're a writer! As a writer, you're invited to join the Community District Writer's Club.

America250 ~ Kids are invited to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States with a keepsake stuffed animal! Each child will receive a mystery animal to fill with fluff and love!

Stories ~ Kids are invited to ROAR into a story on Fridays during the Summer! The fun begins with listening to stories, followed by an activity or craft, and ending by a snack!

The group meets the first Monday of each month.

Art ~ Kids and teens are invited to paint a pottery dinosaur figurine with Happy Soul Place Pottery. Please note fired pieces will be returned to the library for pickup in approximately one week.

STEM ~ Use Legos to build a home, habitat, and more for a dinosaur!

Continue out your summer with a ROAR by making your own dinosaur reading buddy! Each child will receive a mystery dinosaur to stuff and love! Ages 5+

The knitters meet the first Tuesday of each month at the Corunna Branch. Knitters of all skill levels are welcome. Bring projects that you are working on.

Pre-registrations is encouraged.

Food ~ Travel the globe without leaving the library! Now on the first Tuesday of each month, we'll explore a different country through its snacks and sweets. Come curious, leave full.

America 250 ~ In Celebration of America's 250 Years of the Independence, you are invited to join recent CHS graduate Owen McMaster as he delves into the fascinating story of Paul Revere's famous midnight ride.

Animals ~ Join the Howell Nature Center for a live animal presentation.

This event is appropriate for children in 3rd grade and older.

America250/Art ~ Paul Revere used lanterns as a way of communicating that the British were approaching during the Revolutionary War. Create your own lanterns to send messages using a tin can and a few other materials.

Stories ~ Come to the library for stories, an activity, and a snack! Storytime is geared toward children 0-4 years old, however children of all ages are welcome to attend with their caregiver!

The Drop-in-Crafting Club is for any adult who has an interest in crafting.

Drop-in between 1pm and 4pm on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month.

Bring your own project and have fun with other adults who enjoy crafting. 

America250 ~ Today, we can go to the store if we need butter. But in the early days of the United States, people had to make their butter by hand. Learn how to make butter with just cream and a mason jar!
