Kids are invited to join in the fun of an artful adventure on Fridays during the summer. Adventurers will listen to stories; create a colorful art project; and enjoy a snack!

STEM ~ Sensory Scavenger Hunt 

This program is for children ages 3-8 years old.  Children will use their 5 senses to find items in and outside of the library with prizes for those who finish.  

ART~ Join us for a special event with Mark Crilley, acclaimed author, illustrator, and YouTube art educator!

Meet and hold some furry, friendly baby bunnies that are 6 months old.

Kids are invited to Summer Storytime at the Perry branch.  We will read a story or two, followed by a craft, and a snack.

ART ~ Kids are invited to create your own bubble painting and your own bubble wands to experiment with different types of bubbles.

Pre-registration is required due to seating limitations.  

Come to meet our amazing First Responders! There will be officers with police cruisers; paramedics with an ambulance; firefighters with a fire truck, and other awesome surprises! Enjoy snacks and a chance to meet First Responders!

STORIES ~ Summer Storytime is geared toward children 0-4 years old, however children of all ages are welcome to attend with their caregiver.  

STEM ~ Join the Sloan Museum of Discovery to investigate the science behind light, reflection, and shadows with flashlights, mirrors and shadow puppets.

ART ~ Children ages 8 and up are invite to get creative at the library! Paper, crayons, markers, scissors, etc., will be available to help with your doodling needs.

Cameron's Comedy Magic Show is filled with mind-blowing magic, clean comedy, juggling, music, and TONS of audience participation! Fun for the whole family!

ART ~ Flower Pounding  - Using natural dyes from flowers and leaves, decorate an item of clothing. This program is for children 5 years and older. 

The Saturday Stories Club is for 9 to 12-year-olds.

STORIES ~ Travel the World with Storyteller, Jen Strauss this Summer as we meet the Singing Snake; free stories from a Golden Box; dance with Pete the Cat and his New Shoes and then; Sing & Paint a Rainbow!
